This was a delicious pizza with a wonderful flavor and crust. Since it was called "primavera" (spring), I expected several spring vegetables as part of the topping. But the topping consisted only of cheese, tomatoes, and basil. In the final handling and "sleeping" of the pizza, most of the tomatoes had shifted to one side of the pizza and there were only 3 small pieces of basil. A delicious pizza but not quite what I expected.
When you live in an area that gives 5 stars to Domino's.................well ya know you got a problem...Talia is definitely the answer to a dream come true. The crust was remarkable...Outstanding in fact. Contrary to directions I used and air fryer to heat it up and it was perfect. Came well packaged and frozen solid. One edge was broken, but not worthy of sending back or complaining, can cook that too... All in all I'm very happy I read a Yahoo article and made the test. You will be too.
Let me start by saying this...my dad is from Napoli and I have been there 23 times. This by far is the best pizza I have had without having to buy a plane ticket to Italy to get it freshly made. The smell is the same and the taste is spot on! I am their biggest fan and can't wait to order more (I have my friends hooked not too!!). This is the same review for the Margarita pizza also - just giving a plug for the primavera also!
Great pizza with authentic Neapolitan crust. We ordered many as Christmas gifts.
With the current global pandemic (COVID-19/coronavirus) affecting Italy, the birthplace of Neapolitan pizzas (Naples) and nations across the globe, we wanted to address our customers’ concerns head on.
Let us start by reaffirming that the safety, satisfaction and well-being of our customers is and remains our top priority. We are in touch with our team in Italy on a daily basis and are following all official recommendations, sanitary precautions and guidelines on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Considered an essential business by the Italian government, our production facility in Naples remains open and continues its mission to feed the people of Italy and beyond.
We have also been following updates from the Food & Drug Administration and wanted to reassure our customers. There is currently no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19. This means that food cannot be contaminated with the coronavirus and our customers cannot contract the virus by consuming our delicious pizzas. In addition to our FDA compliance, we are also BRCGS-certified, ensuring that our products meet the Global Standard for Food Safety, and IFS-certified, recognized as a food manufacturer by the Global Food Safety Initiative. Suffice to say, we take food safety very seriously.
In addition, the cooking and cryogenic processes we use to bake and freeze our pizzas eliminate any risks of transmission food contamination. Heating food at over 140-165 degrees Fahrenheit kills all bacteria and viruses: our wood-fired ovens reach a temperature of 700 degrees Fahrenheit to cook our pizzas, safely ensuring that our products are bacteria- and virus-free.
Our pizzas are safe, and we hope you and your family are well and safe too. As we all contemplate this new normal, we’re proud to offer a delicious solution to everyone staying at home during these challenging times. We are and will continue to work hard to support Italy and ensure our consumers enjoy high-quality food at home, now and in the future.
